Animated Dreams, the oldest and biggest Estonian animation film festival, offers animators a chance to display the state of their art as well as promotes high-quality international animation culture.
The 13th edition runs from 16 to 20 November, 2011 and consists of an International competition programme of short and medium-length animated films as well as a non-competitive informative programmes, retrospectives and special presentations.
In addition to organising the animation festival the organizers are launching a brand new networking platform and training event for up-and-coming young filmmakers working in animation – AnimaCampus Tallinn.
The competition is open to films of any genre and animation technique from all over the world. The festival invites the competition film director (or another filmmaker) as its guest, covering the accommodation in Tallinn for 3 nights and festival accreditation. The festival may invite more members of the cast and/or crew of the competition film.
The international jury will award:
• Grand Prix “Wooden Wolf” for the Best Film
• Prize for the Best Story
• Prize for the Best Design
